Let's talk about the mask shell. Do you all use shells? Who makes them and how much do they cost? Let's consolidate all that info HERE!

And everyone here uses a shell under their masks? I would love to have a suit that you can just pull the mask on and go! Just like in the comics and movies.

Just like in the comics and movies. very few are using a shell here...i have a simple pull-over mask, but maybe in the future i will have a faceshell too. it would look more accurate to the movie.

i don't have a shell either. I really don't think I need one. I have done Spiderman for appearances and I think without it, it looks more natural. Just my .02

here here-- I figure as long as you don't have Jay Leno chin you should be in good shape.
No offense to any Jay Leno fans out there.

This is my mask with face shell I think if you want to be as close to the movie look as possible you need the right shape. Here is a pic of me without the shell and then with the shell. But I guess its a matter of personal taste and comfort level.

wow... seriously hombre... whats your webbing made of? i really like the look of it on that closeup picture. as for the shell... to say the truth... i like the picture without the shell more... but general pose and lighting come into play there as well.

This is strictly my opinion, but I can't tell a whole lot of difference. I too like it without the shell better. BTW your suit rocks.

I am interested in attempting to make a mask shell. However, I have no idea where to start. What material are you using to make the shell and how do you go about making it? Any tips would be really great.
Thanks
