Just wanted to let you all know that I paid for one of SpiderTim's suits over a YEAR ago and still have no suit and am out almost a thousand dollars. Emails go unanswered and all I get are lame excuses. He continues to sell suits and masks on ebay, but do I get any explaination or return of my money after he sells something. Nope. No real man would act this way. Only a crook. Spread the word and stay away.

As far as I know Tim is a Police Officer you might try and track him down that way. I'm not sure if that is totally accurate but I thought that I read that he was in law enforcement where he lives. Just a thought.

Tim...if you're reading this website I'd like to have you respond. You were very helpfull to me when I made my very first suit and I'd like to hear what you have to say...I dont like to see this type of comment on the Replicas board.

...and I don't like to leave that type of comment, but I thought it was only fair to let those who were considering a purchase to know what I had to go thru....for no particular reason as yet I can identify.
As an update and after over 1 full year, countless emails, filing a dispute with PayPal and having to get down right unpleasant, I FINALLY received the suit the other day. Albeit, not how I ordered it and all the webs were stuck to each other, but I was just thrilled to death to actually have it in my hands and know that I would not have to deal with him anymore and that I was just not out a thousand bucks. I mean, honestly, why in the world would you say you can deliver something in a few months and then when you can't just keep saying, "Oh, it's almost done...just a few more weeks...", for 8 or 9 more months? Then he tells me that he is going to refund my money, but that never happened either. Does that sound like a good business practice to anyone else here? How would you feel if you were in my shoes, knowing you had almost a thousand bucks floating around out there for over a year and had no idea if you were ever going to see anything for it? Nobody would. I am sure Tim is a great guy, just not someone who I would want to do business with. He sure was nice those first few months after I sent him the money...After that, all I really got were a bunch of excuses and unanswered e-mails.. If anyone knows how sometimes things come up and time-lines can change, it's me, but if it does, you don't just leave someone, in that situation, hanging like that. ...And I am not some psycho or nut-job, I actually help take care of sick children and the characters and costumes we use around them are some of the last bits of excitement and fun they ever get to see. I just really don't like to feel like someone is taking advantage of me or them. ...and for anyone who is interested, I will be selling the suit soon.

OK..so Tim delivered...all be it a little behind schedule. So there is no need to keep the topic on the boards. I'll take it down in 5 days to give people the chance to read your last post..and know that he did deliver...and he's not a fraud...just a little slow.

Yes...ALOT slow... most suits take about 4 weeks to make. So 12 months is ALONG TIME.... and I can imagine the frustration you felt during that period...but FRAUD is not the right the word....just VERY SLOW...EXTREMELY SLOW...TAKES FOREVER...you get my drift.
Im currently waiting on webbing to arrive and had some major issues with the quality of the dye-sub...so sometimes things do run a little behind schedule....but granted 12 months is ALOT behind schedule..

I'm still waiting for a suit from Tim for more than two years. Glad that SpiderBry finally got his. Not sure what can be done now. I've even spoken with my lawyer. It is a tough situation all around. Now it is just criminal behavior much like mail fraud. I hope that this can be resolved, but at this point I seem to have exhausted all of Tim's list of excuses and plain ignores me.
Note: PayPal is interested in knowing more. Please feel free to contact them. I've already filed my information with my friend there in the fraud department. Though I now fall outside their window of enforcement for my specific transaction.

Sorry to Necropost...but I'm about to buy a suit from Tim. He replied to an email I sent yesterday in under 2 hours. I asked how long the turn-around time was and he said 4 months. That's longer than other people - but his suit is more tailored, the removable mask is better, and his price is much cheaper.
If I thought I could sew the costume correctly (a seamstress turned me down when I showed her the pattern) and apply the webbing correctly, I'd buy from one of the guys offering the parts on eBay or SHH.
I'll keep everyone informed about how things go.

Two years ago, I buy a suit in Tim and I'm still waiting. I have sent thousands of e-mails and no response for a long time. I do not know what to do. Can someone help me? Thank you very much.

my name is Dennis and I found SpiderTim on line over 2.5 years ago.. I paid him $990 for a red and blue suit. It took him almost 3 months to make the suit and 2 weeks to sent it. The suit looked goo but the eyes were almost falling off the mask and the suit was way to small. I couldn't drive with the suit or bend over to pick up something. I email him about 3 days after I got the suit. I told him about all the issues with the suit and he said for me to return the suit and he would make me a bigger one for free, about 4 months go by and I here nothing from him so i start sending emails like every week and still nothing. Then I send a nasty email and tell him that I want my money back! He's sends me a replay and says don't worry about anything I'm just really behind and I will send it before halloween 2008. This was about 14 months ago and no suit came! Now that FRAUD has my suit and my money! I will not stand for this and will seek out payback! and on another note...spiderTim did another paying fan wrong also, Ive been in contact with this guy from IN, and he has a court date with spriderTim next month....at least someone is doing something about this FRAUD....Was a dirty COP! Im a fireman and by the way and I would with police on a day to day basics. SpiderTim must be some kinds rent-a-cop...lol email me if u 2 have been jacked my spiderTim....backdraft37@gmail.com...thanks!
