Hey guys, thought id give an update on my suit. This week I will be printing my "good" pattern , so expect to finally see the real deal. I should also be finishing up the accurate face shell this week. I recently recieved movie molds for the frames, so expect to see some of those cast this week. I have been working really hard to get my web molds cut. I found out that a few of the dimensions I had and the areas where the web sizes change were wrong, but I have the correct sizes now. I also found out exactly how they did the vector files so it will cut alot faster. Im might be able to get my hands on a copy of that. Im also factoring in the correct percentage of shrinkage of rubber into the dimensions of the webs, so the molds will be slightly larger in order for the rubber to shrink to the correct size. I also got the contact info for the company that made the actual shoes so I may have those made into my suit depending on the price (its not cheap). So keep a heads up these next few weeks for this thing to be finished.
