Hi Yetter, I've spent the better part of 4 hrs trying different methods to simulate your pattern methods. Any chance on a PM with a basic run down on how you did it. When I try to lighten up an area the brick lines fade out. Did you put the brick pattern over the top of the shade corrected area. You are truely a photoshop MASTER.

A master Im not, but just worked through the Dummies book to learn techniques. My pattern is composed of a base layer for color, a brick layer for each red & blue portion (with the magnified muscle definition) and a muscle shading layer. That way I can erase and add to the muscle and not take away from the other components. Make sure you have that layer selected when erasing or you will erase everyhting you touch. Make sense?

Wow, Yetter. A True Photoshop master. What liquify tool you used ? Swirlies ? Actually in PS-CS there is a 'pinch' filter you can use to distort as well as the swirl. Look under 'FILTER' - DISTORT...

I made all the blue bricks and muscle in this pattern. In my past attempts I was trying to blend the TK Comics pattern but I was never happy with the result. Any comments on my pattern below? ;D

Hey Ollie, Just wondering if you used photoshop for your pattern and if so any chance on posting a small photoshop pic with the blue and red you used. ;D I'm getting closer to print and just curious about your colouring. Also, did you find any problems with the pattern after you printed?
