I'm in San Jose. I guess a btter question is what people what to get down to for Spiderman. I fluctuate. I like real ice cream too much :-) Traveling between San Jose and Los Angeles throws my training off too :-( You're from San Jose. I used to be in Milpitas. I moved to Tracy end of last year. I still work in San Jose though. I jumped on the band wagon due to real estate oppurtunity like a bunch of people. Check out my side thing that I'm trying to get started over here. Maybe you can rent some or know anyone from central valley. The company name is Just Jumpers - www.justjumpers4u.com Tracy Spider

well the future of my life as a superhero has changed for the better. i may be starting out again at 345 pounds and may have gained 40 pounds over the last seven months. although i can change these results and make my life better. my doctor now has a new metabolic rate test as his disposal (even though i don't think its new to the overall test they have medically) on this test it figiures what you burn in calories thru a half hour of moderate exercise, what you burn in calories thru your daily lifestyle and light activities you do thru the day, as well as what caliories that you burn while your resting (or better know as your resting energy expenditure is.) in any case i now have the number of calories that i need to take in per day, to assist me in my weight loss quest. futhermore i now know that my metabolic rate runs fast. thats good news because now that i have numbers to work with. i can set my weight loss foward and not be so worried about how my body is able to burn off things. at this point, im so gleeful. i can certain say that calories do matter, having a body fat monitor or having the feature on your scale is good and being careful about how much fat or being conscience of your carb intake are good things. (i'm not saying you should go on a low carb diet) everyone has definite different needs with what they need diet wise. good carbs or cutting back on some of the bad carbs are a great thing to do. what i'm basically trying to say is get yourself a metabolice rate test. it helps open your eyes into what your body is doing for you. as long as you do good for it, it will perfom they way you want. i'm just happy to know that i really can change my body and not have such difficulty to do it. so keep your mind positive and definitely keep with walking when you can't train at your best. also make sure not to work yourself to tired, it will do you no good either. i'll keep you up to date on my progress. i feel so renewed in what i can actually accomplish.

That is good news. I had one of those done at the Bally's where I train. Knowing how much your body burns on a daily basis helps you set a more measurable guide to your daily consumption.
Believe it or not, but your sleep schedule has a lot to do with your metabolism. Ideally, we should be asleep during the hours of 10 PM and 2AM. That is when our bodies are most proficient and repairs. I will have to find where I got that info. I am trying to get back to a good sleep schedule. That is one of those littles things that really made a difference in helping me lose the weight more quickly. I am down to being in bed, usually, by 12:30. Not tonight, boviously :-)
I am working in down to bed by 11:00 up by 7:00. Wich me luck. Good luck to you too larthelad. Don't give up yet. I will 33 this year.
As long as we are breathing, there is a chance to make changes.

GNC is running a sale on the products that MUSCLETECH markets. I've used the Hydroxycut Ephedra-Free fat burner with good results. I recently paid about $23.oo for 140 capsules. Drink this with Amazon's Ginseng tea in the blue bottle, workout and note the results.

well its two weeks later and im down to 335 pounds. my doctor say its a good official intial start and is glad i lost ten pounds in two weeks. he hopes i dont lose to fast and i just hope i keep things at a good safe pace for my body. also i have a pedometer and am keeping track of my steps when i do all my walks. i've had it for a week but this week im doing so much better then last week. so i have to keep track of plenty of health notes. like how much walking i'm doing, my diet, how much im trying to live a positive lifestyle and some pics of my progess. anyway on to the future, even though is still a great work in progress.

well two more weeks have passed and it seems like im slipping again. its a bit frustrating. i gained it looks like 6 pounds, so im up at 341 pounds after two weeks. im feeling very discouraged about things agian. im not sure what to do. i do have online friends but not sure how to talk to them anymore. i don't feel any serious motivation with the superhero thing much anymore. my positive lifestyle even seems to be quieting down. so im kind of wondering how everyone's deal with their emotions, thier motivation and their health goals anyway? because i think im looking at a so very lost cause with my goals or everyone here almost have close to the perfect body for being in shape to dress up as their favorite superhero, that i'm the only one who should be thinking twice about things. anyway just want to start causing some way for chat with everyone here.

Glad to hear fro myou again. was wondering what's up!! Stay the course. Important. Most biological functions do not follow a straight line or any curve to get to a desired point. It is quite natural to have peaks and valleys as you drive to your ultimate goal. Stay with it. Walk, walk, walk. Drink water. communicate. track the peaks and valleys. you'll see that eventually, your weight set point will be where you want it to be.

okay an official update that was supposed to be online yesterday but i got busy with life. another two weeks have passed and i went from 343 pounds down to 336 pounds. i'm happy about that. still working on keeping track of what i eat, drinking more water, drinking other healthy drinks, definitely keeping up with the walking and have energy lows that im hoping i'm going to learn how to deal with soon. hopefully if the weather stay nice here i will be adding swimming to my workout routine. i'm planning to still have my walking routine and not push myself. hopefully another two weeks will pass and ill be losing an average of 1 to 2 pounds a week (which i got close to these past two weeks) so stay tuned this thing may seem to go slow and steady with the updates, but its the way that an everyday healthy lifestyle change is supposed to be

well unfortunately no new progress in two weeks, so again the frustration sets in. included with that is the fact that i can't get my energy to work right, no matter what i eat or drink. by next week i should know with some tests and blood work what the deal is with my energy levels.
hope everyone is still around keeping healthy. i know i have maybe a few online frineds who are trying to keep in shape or at least i hope. most of my real offline friends with an exception of one, really dont care that much about whats going on with me. sure lately they've asked whats wrong but im not sure what to tell them. i say i'm tired and i look tired when i say it. so hopefully ill make it thru this week not trying to push myself (but its hard to live being fat, dealing with low finances, being depressed at times, and having offline friends go to the movies and forget to ask you along)
man my life feels like im still missing something of the bigger picture it has to offer.

I was wondering how you were doing? Haven't heard from you in a little bit. Ask your Doctor if you add ginseng to your diet. Either in powder form or as Ginseng tea. It does give you an energy boost! Take care.

well the mediocre news is that i havent gained nor lost any in 5 weeks. so ive stablized out a bit around 336 pounds for the time being. my doctor didnt give a thumbs up or a thumbs down to ginseng, so i can make the choice to take it and i tried it one in the Arizona diet green tea with ginsing and could feel an energy boost. so ill have to keep more close track with ginseng and see what it does for me. i'm also dealing with low testostrone levels and th doctor has me taking DHEA and so i'm not sure what to think about that. ill also have a bigger percentage of a waterpill to take with my micardis (my blood pressure medicine) and taking something natural for my cholesterol levels, which is to help to bring my good cholesterol levels up and lower my high tryglicerides levels, which have seem constants in my life. so if i can come up with a reasonable game plan with my better eating plans, keep up with the walking and try other exercises without exhuasting myself i think ill be ok. if you want to email urban you can or ill email you or pm you. that way maybe you can help me help myself. anyway onto to another two weeks of getting things right and hopefully to a good futre progress report in two weeks

Good to hear from you. I've got a big problem here... Need some help... I am trying to gain that Spidey figure as well, but thing is I am skinny. I've started eating 4 meals a day, but didn't help. I don't wanna be a skinny looking spidey weakling. My body is just about right for Spidey already, got the pectoral muscles, but not much of the chest muscles. My arms are as thin as chinese bamboo ! Any advice guys ?
