Well, the title kind of says it all. Let's chat for a minute about doing gymnastics in costume. Of all the superheros I can think of, none would be more appropriate than Spiderman to flip around in full gear. I have thought about getting a costume to wear occasionally when I coach, so that my younger students can say that Spiderman "guest coached" their class. Of course, I would not tell them it was me. I would be Spiderman the whole time (I would be "on vacation" or something). How many of you have tumbling skills, and who has video of themselves tumbling in costume? This goes right along with "Getting into Spidey Shape". Besides, it gives me a reason to check the board more often.

Did you clip the movie at the right time to give it that "stuck on the wall" effect? Very cool. If ONLY I HAD A COSTUME!!!! So who else coaches here? And what levels do you coach? Mens or womens? We have the FIG and USAG regulating our sport out here... Do you use the FIG code of points for your program, or is it different out there? I can't imagine it would be too different with the whole olympics thing having to match up and all... I am downloading the 30 meg video as I write this... 17% .... 18% ..... 19% ..... Dammit. I'm going to bed.

K, I lied. I had to stay awake and watch it. The big file was great! Lol. Lots of fun to watch. I will try to track down a short music video some friends of mine and I did in high school. Spidey music video with a 250 pound Spidey in spandex... HILARIOUS! It is 2am and I am lurking. I think I have a problem... NO I DON'T! I CAN TURN OFF THE COMPUTER ANYTIME I WANT TO! REALLY! ..... umm..... ok, here I go.... dammit... ... ... ...

Ohh yeah, I've been in gymnastics for like three years, which really isn't that long, but I'm young, so I caught on fast. there was this variety show at my high school and this orchestra was playing the spider-man movie theme music. There's some pics at brianwood.homeunix.net/actionsuperstars/sjt-act10 You can see me doing some flips there. They didn't catch all the action though, like in the begining, I did a front flip onto the stage. It kinda stunk though, because my little toy web shooter things didn't work at the end of the show. I also didn't get a chance to finish all the webbing for the show. You can click on the picks to see bigger versions of them. ;D

Lol. That was entertaining! I wish I had a suit!!! My antics would be so much better in a suit. Anyone live near me in So Cal who wants to loan me their suit for a day? I will give you free gymnastics lessons in return!!!
