Does anyone know what kind of shoes they used for the movie costume? I am trying to find a good square toe aqua shoe but am not having any luck. Any ideas or has anyone made any custom ones that match the original?

another question... i have a printed pattern and i cant quite figure how the shoes actually sew up. obviously, you sew it so it loops around the calf... but what do you do so that the shoe actually bends up like our feet do?

ok... so we have the pattern for the boots. we sew it up such that it generally takes a cylindrical shape. at the bottom, we have a dangling foot of fabric that would be going straight down. now if you look at the profile of a foot, it makes a right angle. so if we were to put the aqua shoes on put our foot in, wouldnt the fabric bundle up together on the inside of the bend on our foot? so the question is....
if hung up with nothing inside (after sewn), is the foot portion just supposed to hang straight down? or are we supposed to do something with it such that it bends up a little to prevent any crunching up of the fabric.

Just stretch the fabric around the shoe so all the lines on the print are in the correct place and pin it down. Then hand stitch around the out side. The shoe will still pretty much hang straight down but should fit your foot correctly with little to not gathering. ;D

Can I use hotglue or 'superglue' to attach a spidey4fun suit to the rubber-soled pool type shoes?
