Hey there people. Some of you probably know me, most of you do not. My name is Justin and I am the webmaster over at www.thebatcave8k.com . It is my little project that has grown WAY out of control this past year or so. I deal with every replica Batmobile builder in the US and Canada right now. If there are replica Batmobiles, I either know where they are, who made them, who owns them, or I have seen them at some point or another. Chances are, I have even sat in them. I started reading comics when I was in the 4th grade. My very FIRST comic ever was the Spectacular Spiderman, issue number 200 (foil embossed anniversary edition). I still have it, and that was at least 13 years ago. Spiderman is my second favorite super hero ever. If I could have one costume, it would be a Spiderman costume. I am going to spend a little time here, and read past posts, and try to add my 2 cents. But I am WAY out of my element as far as Spidey costumes go. What do they cost? What are they made out of? I own a small screen printing company here in Southern California... Can I help in any way making the costumes since I screen print? Ok, that is it for now. I am going to repost this in the General forum as an introduction. I think I saw someone advocating that a few minutes ago. Moved the thread to General Discussion as this is more general

Thanks for the compliment. I am taking a little break so to speak from the Batman world. I am still updating my site, hanging out with replica owners/builders and even building my own cars. Meantime, the Bat board are not very friendly places to hang out these days, so I am just observing while passing the time here and there. When I found this forum, I thought COOL! Something new to occupy my time. The good news for all of you is that it is getting easier and easier to own an '89. This time next year, they will be even more commont than they are now! I am going to pick up on my Project: Poor Man's Batmobile sometime this year, hoping to complete it within 6-12 months from the time I pick it up again. After that, EVERYONE will be able to put together a scratch built version.

Welcome ! The 89 mobile looks ... AMAZING ! I still find it hard to believe people make functional cars out of it.

Yeah, I check in to the BOTB every now and then. SO what are you basing your Begins car on? You know there are already molds floating around, right? But it will be awhile before the individual starts pulling bodies. So good luck with your build!
