Hello all I am new to this site, but not new to props. I have been a part of therpf.com for years under a different screen name. I found this site and am very interested in making my own spider-man suit. The deciding factor for me making this suit is that at my work we are getting a laser engraver in the beginning of July. So I will have access to making molds for 3D webbing. I noticed that there is not a lot of activity on here, but Im hoping there are a few people on here that frequent and will be willing to help if I have any questions. Thanks for your time. -Todd

Hey Todd... Welcome. It's very quite here but it's a little more organised then other sites. Easier to find stuff you might say. A laser engraver might come in handy. The webbing might not be that easy to recreate with the laser engraver...but I dont know a lot about them. The depth of the webbing varies as does the width of the cut.
So I'd be keen to see what sort of results you can achieve.
Cheers Brad.

I have never used a laser engraver, but the owner of the shop says it should be possible to do. We'll have to wait and see. On a side note I just received my pattern on saturday and I am vectorizing all the webbing as we speak. I will keep up with updates as I go. -Todd
